Description

Make yourself a beautiful and satisfying vegan mango lassi. It’s super simple, ready in 5 minutes, thick, creamy and oh so refreshing!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 3/4 cup coconut yogurt or yogurt of choice* (try our 5 min easy homemade mango “yogurt”!)
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1/8 tsp cardamom
  • optional: 1 tbsp maple syrup or sweetener of choice (if your yogurt is not sweetened)

*Fresh ingredients you need that are not part of our pantry and freezer tips.

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in your blender and blend until creamy and smooth.
  2. Add sweetener if needed, more water to thin, or more yogurt for added creaminess.
  3. To serve, pour into your glass and top with another sprinkle of cardamom or ground pistachios if desired.

Notes

*Approximate cost: CAD $2.87 with full price yogurt. CAD $1.67 with yogurt on sale.

*This recipe makes one shorter glass serving. Double the recipe if you want to fill a larger glass.

*If your yogurt is sweetened you can omit any sweetener, blend your lassi, and taste test. Add additional sweetener of choice if desired.

*If you don’t have cardamom on hand, cinnamon or ginger could make tasty substitutes.
