Make the best vegan “Nutella” sandwich with a quick homemade chocolate hazelnut spread, peanut butter, banana, & your favourite toppings!
Ingredients

- 1 slice of sourdough bread (or bread of choice)*
- 1–2 tbsp vegan “Nutella”
- 1–2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1/4 of a sliced banana*
- 1/4–1/2 tsp ground flaxseed
- 1 tsp chopped toasted walnuts
- 1 tsp cacao nibs*
*Ingredients you need that are not part of our pantry and freezer tips.
Instructions
For The Sandwich:
- Toast your bread.
- Spread the vegan “Nutella” over your toast followed by the peanut butter.
- Lay thinly sliced banana on top.
- Sprinkle with ground flaxseed, toasted walnuts, cacao nibs or any other toppings of choice.
Notes
Approximate Cost: This recipe costs us around $0.60 CAD using our homemade vegan “Nutella”. I use homemade sourdough for the bread but your cost will certainly vary depending on the bread used.
