Description

Make the best vegan “Nutella” sandwich with a quick homemade chocolate hazelnut spread, peanut butter, banana, & your favourite toppings!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 slice of sourdough bread (or bread of choice)*
  • 12 tbsp vegan “Nutella”
  • 12 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/4 of a sliced banana*
  • 1/41/2 tsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 tsp chopped toasted walnuts
  • 1 tsp cacao nibs*

*Ingredients you need that are not part of our pantry and freezer tips.


Instructions

For The Sandwich:

  1. Toast your bread.
  2. Spread the vegan “Nutella” over your toast followed by the peanut butter.
  3. Lay thinly sliced banana on top.
  4. Sprinkle with ground flaxseed, toasted walnuts, cacao nibs or any other toppings of choice.

Approximate Cost: This recipe costs us around $0.60 CAD using our homemade vegan “Nutella”. I use homemade sourdough for the bread but your cost will certainly vary depending on the bread used.
