Whether you follow a plant based diet, want to include more plant foods in your meals, or are cooking for a vegan/dairy-free eater; we want you to know that you can make:

Why Tasty, Thrifty, Timely?

We, like many others, believed that eating a more plant based diet would not taste good, would be more expensive, and would require more time in the grocery store and kitchen.

But before we started eating a plant exclusive diet; we often found ourselves bored with our meals, resorting to eating out when we wanted something different, and going to the grocery store every few days to get ingredients for specific recipes.

When we started altering our diets however, we discovered that the opposite was true in each of those three areas of concern! We now find ourselves excited by the food we make, saving money in many instances, and saving time in the kitchen and grocery store.

Our Recipe Costs

We live on Vancouver Island, Canada and our recipes are priced according to where we shop for our groceries.

You will notice that I give you our recipe cost in our blog posts, videos, and recipe cards. However, this is just meant to give you an idea of our cost compared to a version of the recipe which includes animal products (i.e my tofu quiche vs. a traditional quiche). Or, our cost compared to store-bought versions of the recipe (i.e. my homemade granola vs. a store-bought granola).

The cost of our recipes will vary depending on where you are located, what foods are in season, and how food prices change over time.
